But it won't feel like it is for a while, at least. Early intervention in a good program is key. Ciaran will get the individualized, specialty instruction he needs. Home-schooling your other kids will go more smoothly with less disruptions, the baby will have his time with you, and you will have more energy and patience in dealing with the tougher moments that autism brings if you've had a few hours of space from it. In short, you will be a better mom to all of your kids! Good luck. Trust that you are doing the right thing...because you are.
