Baby Is Coming

I’m writing this from the Labor and Delivery unit at the hospital.  My membranes have ruptured at 35 and since I’m group B strep positive with a pre-term baby and ruptured membranes, I’ve agreed to start antibiotics.  Since labor wasn’t starting on it’s own, I’ve also agreed to pitocin.

Fairness

I know I’m being absolutely ridiculous. I feel like pouting and being whiny because I had to stay home sick from work and I think it’s awful to have a whole day off and have to actually spend it sick.

One Day I’ll Laugh

One day I'll look back on days like today and laugh, but it'll take a while, I think.
Today started out well.  I got a really good night's sleep last night, due in great part to the Boppy Total Body Pillow:

This has been one of my most comfortable pregnancies, thus far, but I [...]

Feeling More Human

I’m 10 weeks and 2 days pregnant today, and while my gag reflex is still working hard for the money, my overwhelming urge to purge has finally calmed down a bit.
And after months and months I think my internal clock is finally starting to reset.  I’ve been going to bed by midnight and am actually [...]
